The cabinet yesterday approved national strategy and national reform bills, which will direct the country's economic and social development over the next 20 years. The national strategy bill is required to be endorsed by parliament and will later be announced in the Royal Gazette. The national strategy planning is required to be completed in one year, while the national reform needs to be finished over the next six months. Mr Kobsak said the bill requires the establishment of a national strategy committee chaired by the prime minister. According to Mr Kobsak, the national reform bill also requires the establishment of the national reform committee.
